I will begin with a general overview concering Romeo and Juliet. I plan to exhibit differences and what they have in common. The following is a comparison between the film, which was produced by Gabriella Martinelli and Baz Luhrmann, and Shakespeare‘s drama, the German translation by Herbert Geisen (from Reclam publishing). The main conflict of this drama is still timely.
